It's been three years since Corporal Smedley Butler, the Marine Bulldog Mascot, completed training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot.

When Pvt. Samantha M. Grove graduated with the Second Recruit Training Battalion at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Friday, she earned a unique distinction for her family.

Each new Marine will be able to invite two guests to attend their graduation. Visitors must adhere to social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask during the ceremony.
