BOSTON (AP) — The 215-year-old USS Constitution has sailed for the first time since 1997, taking a 17-minute cruise across Boston Harbor.

The world's oldest commissioned warship will sail under its own power for just the second time in more than a century this weekend.

Three of its sails unfurled, the USS Constitution sailed in Boston Harbor on August 19, 2012. It was only the second sailing of the ship, under its own power, in over 100 years.
